Susan’s home has been reportedly invaded by an intruder – how true was that?
She came home from her recording for the Haiti victims distressed when she found out that her house was disturbed, seeing a young man leaving the property on the same time.
Police said the singer had been left “very distressed” after discovering somebody inside the house in Blackburn when she returned from London where she had been recording vocals for the Helping Haiti single.
She said: “I’m fine. It’s in the hands of the police now.”
Forensics officers have carried out a thorough examination of the door frame and the back garden.
Police said a 16-year-old boy was detained and questioned but has since been released without charge.
Well, at least we know that she’s fine after the disruption. 
Susan Boyle finally had her first, much-hyped personal appearance in Oprah from the time she captured fame in the Britain’s Got Talent Audition. This was said to be one of the highlights in her life as she has known Oprah and her show to be very famous and successful in the field of entertainment.
Her trip to Chicago was a blast and indeed, it was a very successful experience performing live in Oprah. She had the audience did a standing ovation when she sang the song, “Who I Was Born To Be”.
White ethereal curtains were lifted to reveal Susan standing in a circle of light. Her rendition of “Who I Was Born To Be” was utterly beautiful and uplifting, and the ovation she received afterward was all Susan needed to let her know that she most certainly did not disappoint!
Next, Susan hopped up onto a chair for her chat with Oprah. Oprah, famous for her searching and emotionally charged interviewing techniques quizzed Susan on everything – from how she had arrived at the BGT auditions all those months ago, through her troubled times and out the other side to Susan’s life now and her dreams for the future. Susan treated her audience to a “Boyle” wiggle and all too soon the interview was over.

Looks like she went with a dyed chestnut brown
hairstyle and got a pretty “smart” looking wardrobe.
Despite her new look, people that interact with her say she hasn’t
changed a bit and is still the same ole Susan that we all love.
One local said: “It’s really good that Susan decided to keep using this place. She has a wonderful talent – but it’s fabulous to see that she’s still so down-to-earth. She just had a wee makeover but she’ll never go all Hollywood on us.”

Susan told her friends that she had “spent all her savings” on recording these songs back in 1999 in hopes of becoming famous.
Susan sent this song along with her other recording of ‘Cry Me a River’ to record companies, TV stations, and radio talent competitions including Michael Barrymore’s My Kind of People…and she was rejected…boy are those companies kicking themselves now!!
Elaine stated, “It looks like I have competition. Perhaps we should record a duet. Susan is a role model for everyone who has a dream.”
Susan Boyle’s dream is coming true before our very eyes and will be singing along side with her idol Elaine Paige.
Elaine too was blown away by her performance on Britain’s Got Talent.
They are planning on singing a new special version of ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ and they are also planning on singing ‘I Know Him So Well’ (a song that Elaine sang with Barbara Dickson in the video below).
Last night Susan Boyle appeared on ‘Larry King Live’. She sung (in acapella) ‘My Heart Will Go On’ by Celine Dion. Piers Morgan (who was a guest on the show) said: “To sing that with no musical backing is unbelievable. You have the voice of an angel, Susan.” He later invited her to go to dinner with him in London!

It’s official! Susan will be appearing on Oprah and Larry King! Oprah has expressed interest in having Susan on her show; however, Oprah stated that she would like to wait until the BGT competition is over before interviewing Susan.
