I can’t believe this woman’s voice. Susan Boyle has such an angelic voice that brings me to another place. She now joins the Dead Kennedys and Joan Jett in my iPod – she balances everything out. Simon Coward, eat my cornholio!

Susan you made me cry. Your voice is so beautiful and when you sing your whole being changes before our eyes. You are a beautiful person. Do not let them change you. Enjoy your success and please record because I need to hear you sing when i am alone. I am 74 and have always wanted to sing but life got in my way. But I still sing to myself and I enjoy it.
Stay sweet and lovely and the world will be yours.

Every time I listen the song I dreamed a dream, I get goose bumbs and feel very emotional. Susan Boyle “Bravo, Bravo and Bravo” What a wonderful voice!

Not only does Susan have a beautiful voice but she is beautiful when she sings. Her face takes on a whole new look when she sings, you can see and hear the beauty in her emotions.

Susan Boyle has quickly proved herself to be not just a woman with a first rate voice, and not just a Scottish lass with a lot of pluck, but most importantly she is an interpretive singer on a par with America’s Frank Sinatra from a generation ago. She is powerful yet kind. She is determined, yet sad. Everyone loves her because there’s a little of what we each would strive to be and yet enough of us in her of what we really are.

Since we are discussing the lyrics here I thought it was ironic that Simon Cowell said Susan was a little tiger, which she denied. In truth Susan was walking into the tiger’s den when she walked on that stage, the tigers that come in the night and tear your hope apart, the tigers that sit in the audience and on the judges stand ready to humiliate the unworthy. Susan not only rocked them back on their haunches, but tamed them, and even humbled them. We are moved by her performance and her story because she reminds us of ourselves at our most vulnerable, and she triumphs.
