Susan Boyle’s dream is coming true before our very eyes and will be singing along side with her idol Elaine Paige.
Elaine too was blown away by her performance on Britain’s Got Talent.
They are planning on singing a new special version of ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ and they are also planning on singing ‘I Know Him So Well’ (a song that Elaine sang with Barbara Dickson in the video below).

I’m looking forward to hearing this. Elaine should be quite flattered that Susan chose her as the person she aspires to emulate. There are lots of female singers out there and no doubt, she was influenced by others. A great endorsement. I can speak for many Americans who never had the privilege of hearing Elaine Paige sing until 2 weeks ago. She may see an increase in record sales, at least in America. Though Susan is more my style, both are wonderful!
I am thrilled for Susan that she has gotten herself a mini-makeover. She deserves it. Whatever makes her feel happy and good about herself I say go for it Susan! This my dear friends is not going to change her voice which is angelic.
Penne-USA…. I couldn’t agree more. I can’t believe those in the business of “marketing” her talent didn’t want her to do this. I hope she continues to make her own choices. I don’t believe “maintaining the image” is Susan’s top priority, and I hope it never is. She is beautiful to the very core of her being, and that will never change.
This should be a two star performance. I believe that Susan is the women with the golden voice who has at long last been discovered by the media. She is undoubtedly the British version of the French singer Edith Piaf.
I hadn’t heard of Elaine Paige until Susan mentioned her either. I’ve been listening to her on YouTube now. She appeared on Larry King saying her email on her radio show has been inundated since Susan mentioned her. She’s been very gracious in praising Susan’s talent and even asking her for a duet on Entertainment Tonight. Both videos are on YouTube. Watch the one on “watch my daughter watching susan” while you’re at it. See an 18 month old mesmerized by Susan.

I also do not know Elaine Paige but when She mentioned her name I was searching in the youtube and also watching and listenning her songs. They have different voices to sing this two songs, I dream a dream and Memory. I wish to have a Cd with this both songs from Susan Boyle.
